Language clubs for immigrants in Oulu

Language club for immigrant parents taking care of their children at home

Are you on parental leave and wondering what you could do when your child starts daycare?
Participate in the language club, activate your Finnish and start thinking about what you could do after parental leave. Children can come along!

Language club on Mondays and Wednesdays continues until the end of May. You can join the language club at any moment and come whenever it suits you and your little one.

The same great Finnish language teacher, Tuire Leinonen, will lead the club. Every time, there will be a new topic, so feel free to participate in the club twice a week.  As always, kids from newborn age are welcome to come along. We will provide something to drink and small snacks. Participation is voluntary and free of charge.

  • On Mondays, the language club is at OSAO in Kaukovainio from 13:30 to 15:30. Address: Kotkantie 1 (C-wing), 90250 Oulu.
  • On Wednesdays, the language club is at D-asema in Tuirassa from 10:00 to 12:00. Address: Valtatie 53, 90500 Oulu.

In June, we’ll have a special summer program. More information will be available in the coming weeks.

Welcome to learn Finnish!
