
Medallion for Excellence for WSC Competitor Matias Tiri

The world’s largest professional skills event, WorldSkills, concluded on September 15, 2024, in Lyon, France. Matias Tiri, representing OSAO, received a Medallion for Excellence in the Car Painting category for a performance above the average standard.
Toivo Särkkinen brought home a silver medal for Team Finland in the Chemical Laboratory Technology category. Additionally, 11 Finnish competitors received Medallions for Excellence for performances above the average standard in their respective fields.
A total of 1,400 competitors from 69 countries participated in the WorldSkills competition. Finland was represented by 22 young professionals who are top experts in their fields and professions.
